Erik Potter's Profile and Contact Information
Erik was born in the tiny hamlet of Valparaiso, Indiana, outside of Chicago. When he was ten the family moved to the Grand Canyon State due to impressive unemployment in the Midwest. After his primary education and during secondary, he spent the '90's entertaining the masses in the desert “on-air”, primarily in the Country format.
In 2001 Erik started his career in insurance and retirement planning with New York Life and went independent in 2005. After three decades of “dry heat” he tired of not having to shovel snow, and in order to be closer to an ever aging family he decided to move back to the Midwest. This time the very picturesque south-east region of Wisconsin. Two winters and countless episodes of freezing near to death it became apparent that Erik had suffered a relatively severe head injury that caused a lack of judgment in geographic relocation. Upon finding out that airplanes regularly go in and out of Wisconsin (an amazingly efficient method of visiting family) and Erik's father retiring to Melbourne, the half frozen desert rat and his “Cheese Head” better half packed their meager belongings in their covered wagon (Ford Expedition) and headed to the land of gators and manatees.
Erik is excited to bring his years of experience with retirement planning, life and health insurance to central Florida!
