Meet the Team
David R. Murrell
CFO
Dave began his insurance career in 1982 with American Family Insurance in Marion, Indiana. After serving as a district manager and later running a bank‑owned agency, he purchased and rebranded Murrell & Associates in 1996.
He moved to Florida in 2004, joined SJR Insurance, and purchased the agency in 2011. Today, Dave oversees office operations and financial management.
Justin Murrell
President / Commercial Lines
Justin entered the insurance industry in 1997 at Murrell & Associates and became president in 2004. After relocating to Florida in 2006 and completing his degree in History and Political Science, he rejoined the insurance field in 2012 at SJR Insurance.
Justin specializes in business, condo association, and HOA insurance, with a strong focus on long‑term client relationships.
